Royal Icing

A simple icing ingredient that’s perfect for cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and any dessert you can think of.

  • Main Ingredient: Eggs


  • 6 cups confectioner's sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 4 egg whites (beaten)


In a bowl, sift together confectioner's sugar and cream of tartar. Using electric mixer, beat in 4 beaten egg whites for about 5 minutes or until mixture is thick enough to hold its shape.
